• Job Description:

  Award winning design and production firm seeks a technical lead/software developer for client projects and operations management. Applicants should be technically skilled/experienced with an emphasis on creating business solutions. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise level software systems, outlining technical solutions/options to clients, and managing the company application infrastructure. Candidates must have at least five years of work experience and should have a computer science degree.

  Qualifications:

  • Solid foundation and understanding of OO, MVC and IoC
  • Experience leading technology projects
  • Experience building and maintaining relational, production databases and servers
  • 3+ years of experience with PHP
  • The right mindset: pride in quality work, eager communicator, team player, personable, ability to both lead and follow, can-do attitude, nothing is beneath you, willingness to take accountability for critical decisions, willingness to contribute to company knowledge, strategy & well being
  • Big plus if you have: Management experience, background or strong interest in UI design, knowledge of Flash programming

  Technical Experience:

  Required: LAMP, symfony or other PHP MVC framework

  Additional Experience: MySQL performance tuning, MVC Java, Rails, Django, Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SVN, Tomcat, Weblogic, Geronimo or Glassfish
