Following on the success ofthe “Batman: Terror of the Time Traps” game produced for Kids WB’s DC BeyondPortal and Batman The Brave and The Bold show sitelet, FG was tasked to createthe Batman Game Builder, a flash-based application which allows users to createand share their own unique games featuring Batman teamed up with one of hissuperhero pals such as Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Green Lantern, Red Tornado orPlastic Man. Instead of simply engaging in game play based on systemgenerated routines, the Game Builder empowers users to compose their own uniquegaming experience by placing obstacles and villains amongst platforms of theirown creation. Once finished creating their game, users can share theirgames via email, browse games that other community members have composed, andrate or favorite other users creations.
