Working with BPOD and associated retail partners, high-end kiosks, called Digital Media Stations, were conceptualized and developed as a centerpiece in physical retail space for promoting and experiencing media products such as CDs and DVDs available for sale in the store.?
FG provided a full spectrum of services for the Digital Media Station development ranging from hardware research and selection, content programming, video editing, and application integration to overall design and technical development.?
The experience centers on a personalized 3-D environment with screens rotating in and out of the interface. Users are enticed to use the Station with video attract loops that feature content available on the kiosk and a live camera capturing the user’s likeness. Whether featured within the kiosk or bar code scanned from a physical product, users are able to sample music from CDs, clips from DVDs, and view gameplay from popular games.
