Project Overview
Inspired by Japanese Pachinko games, Funny Garbage created this interactive points generating game in Flash for KidzBop.com, the top selling series of children's music in the world.
This prize device only allowed users to try their luck at winning points three times a day. To play, users launched a ball to the top of the board, similar to a pinball game. As it fell down through a maze of pins, the ball could land in one of several pockets on the game board, rewarding the user with points. Since the game only allowed three shots per day, it was a great impetus for users to return to the site to play again and again. The interface incorporated a variety of musical elements from the Kidz bop catalog, and was skinnable for new releases, holidays and seasons.
