Project Overview
Fox's new hit morning news show is the spike in the punch of morning television programming: Funny Garbage is the ladle, helping serve up cups to thirsty viewers. The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet is a fun, flirty program with an irreverent take on a traditionally sedate genre of television, and to help launch this unique program onto the airwaves, Fox called upon FG's expertise in melding on-air and online content.?
Leading up to the show's debut, MandJShow.com helped feed anticipation, treating visitors to a glimpse of the unconventional personalities of the show's two hosts. Since the premiere, the site is frequently mentioned on-air and presenting complementary content: including video clips, photos, articles and polls.?
Funny Garbage constructed the site with PHP on the back of WordPress, using the popular blogging application as a facile, expandable content management system.?
Presenting a clean, simple interface and intuitive Flash navigation system, users are quickly able to locate and view current and archived stories, clips and on-air segemnts.
