Funny Garbage: 10 Years of Making the Web Worth Watching

Toot & Puddle Website

National Geographic

Project Overview

In many ways, Funny Garbage is full of people who never grew up. Oh sure, maybe some of us need to shave our faces or legs, and may have some specs of silver evident when the light catches just right, but the fun-loving child inside remains alive and well. The Toot & Puddle site for National Geographic is just the type or project that invites that young'un inside to come out and play for a while.?

Utilizing the beautiful watercolors of children's illustration and storytelling icon Holly Hobbie, Funny Garbage brings best pals Toot, Puddle, Tulip and Opal to life through interactive Flash-animated movies and games. Visitors can visit Toot's Woodcock Pocket living room to learn about the gang, view clips of the new Toot & Puddle DVD, or play a game of hide-and-seek or dress-up with the series' cast.?

Printable activities are sure to keep children amused, while parents can navigate to learn more about the author, the new DVD and all of the titles in the Toot & Puddle series of books.?

Funny Garbage relishes the chance to participate in wonderfully creative projects, and to take the trip, if ever so briefly, back to childhood.
